Monday Motivation and my latest shopping finds…

Happy Monday! I hope you guys are starting your last week of October on a positive note! Yes, I just said last week of October. I honestly can’t believe 2018 is almost over.  Time flies and that’s why it’s so important that today we talk about goals and what you are doing to meet yours. I think many times, we think… Oh I’ll just wait till the start of next year to fully get going or I’ll start once I have my office all nicely organized (me..!).

Whatever your excuse might be, I want to tell you to stop overthinking it and start doing it. We have two full months before 2019 and I think we can start checking things off lists and getting things done. What does that mean for you? I don’t know, but I’m sure there’s something you’ve had on your mind and you haven’t done yet, for different reasons… laziness, procrastination, fear of failure, lack of commitment, uncertainty… how do I know all of this? Well let’s just say I go through it as well. When we realize these things, we can better tackle them and understand that we are not alone. Any person that has a mission and a goal (or goals) goes through this daily and that’s ok, but what’s not ok is to stay there and give up. PLEASE don’t give up! Your big moment is coming, just keep at it.

On that note, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the type of content that I want to share on my digital platforms. I’ve been working on some ideas that are still in its beginning stages, but one of my goals for the rest of this year and next is to share with you all my everyday go-to looks. What I mean by this is literally what it sounds like… my everyday work outfits, weekend outfits, church outfits, gym outfits, and so on. As a busy 20-something year old, it’s not always easy to put outfits together for work and also for on-camera. It can get stressful, but if I can do it, you can too and that’s exactly what I want to motivate you to do. Whether you’re a mama, a teenager, a 30-40-50 something year old, you too can always look your best and I will share with you my personal tips.

What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts as well as what you want to see.

Now, here are some items I got while shopping this weekend… all on sale items from Macy’s… because I went in for some foundation, but of course I didn’t come out with just foundation…who would do that, right? 😉

Maison Jules dress (size M) $38
Sanctuary denim skirt (Size 8) $80 (pricey, but worth it)
