How to Plan Your Week…

Hello my fellow readers! Happy Sunday! Hope you’ve all had a great weekend! It’s Fall and although we may just want to relax till the new year, today I want to inspire you to start organizing yourself and begin to establish habits of self-discipline that will get you to where you want to be.

Regardless of what you’ve done (or not done) this year, it’s time to stop procrastinating and start doing. I believe that many times it’s not that we don’t want to start, it’s just that we don’t know where to start or what to even do. So today I want to share some things that you can start doing tomorrow to stay organized this week and accomplish one task at a time.

Step 1: Write down three goals/tasks for this week (anything counts)

Step 2: Schedule out your week (work, gym, church, other activities, etc.)

Step 3: Schedule in your three goals ( during a time when you will actually do it)

Step 4: Make it habit to check your calendar/planner (wherever you wrote down your goals) everyday. This will remind you of what you need to do.

I’m sharing this with you because I’ve been doing it for the past three weeks and it’s been keeping me on schedule with everything I need to do.

Trust me, I know how hard it can be to establish habits of self-discipline, especially when you don’t have deadlines and no one to pressure you. It’s probably one of the hardest things to do and more so when we try to justify our procrastination with work or lack of time.

Remember, we all have the same 16 hours of the day (don’t forget to sleep for 8 hours) to reach our goals. It’s up to you to start and maybe your first week will be hard, but remember that everything requires a sacrifice. It’s all about how bad you want it.
