Easiest BBQ Ribs Recipe
INGREDIENTS
Ribs (however many you’ll be making)
Apple cider vinegar or fresh squeezed lemon juice ( enough to drench your ribs in it, but this is OPTIONAL)
Salt
Bay leaves (4-5) or more depending on how many you’ll make
BBQ sauce of your choice
Mustard (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
The first step is to take your ribs and remove the membrane (skin) on the back which can be easily done by taking the tip of your knife and peeling the edge and then easily pull off the rest.
Once that’s done, take your ribs and drench them in apple cider vinegar (diluted with water so it’s not so strong) or lemon and let them sit for about 15-20 minutes.
The next step is to dry them off and preheat your oven to 280° F so that your oven can heat up while you finish prepping your ribs.
What you want to do next is generously rub your ribs on both sides with salt and take one bay leaf and place it on either side of each rack of rib and wrap each rack in aluminum foil.
This step is important because you want to make sure you wrap your ribs, but still leave some space inside for the juices. Place your ribs inside a tray or pan and wrap them again in aluminum foil so they can cook well.
Place your ribs in the oven and let them cook for 2 hours. After the 2 hours, unwrap them, add your BBQ sauce, and place them back in the pan or baking dish . Let them broil for another 15-20 minutes and your ribs are ready.
This recipe is FAIL-PROOF! Your ribs will be falling off the bone and the bay leaves give them so much flavor!
Please let me know if you try it and I hope you enjoy eating them as much as I do!
Thank you! Happy Cooking!
