What a year 2020 has been, but I think we can all agree that this year has taught us so much! Something I’ve had more time to do this year is read up on products and learn more about the ingredients I use in my skincare and home products. So today I’d like to share some of the amazing products I’ve been loving lately and why.

As a person who doesn’t wear much makeup, I’ve always believed it’s important to take extra care of your canvas (skin) and therefore you won’t even need much makeup. Some people simply enjoy getting all glammed up, but even then, it’s super important to care for your skin.

Here’s my list, hope you enjoy! ( Please let me know in the comments if you’ve used any of these and if you like them.)

  1. Sephora Collection Clarifying Serum- My skin has loved this serum since day 1. I love that it’s super affordable and has natural origin Salicylic Acid which helps to exfoliate the skin and natural origin hyaluronic acid that hydrates to reveal smoother more hydrated skin. I use it every night and sometimes during the day as well. Don’t let the price fool you, these products are clean without many harsh ingredients including sulfates (SLS and SLES), parabens, phthalates, making clean skincare attainable, even for those on a budget.

  2. GLOW RECIPE Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask and Banana Souffle Moisturizer: Let me just say you’re going to love these products from the moment you open them up. They smell like the actual fruit and they’re just as delicious on the skin. I had used other products containing AHA ingredients and unfortunately had a horrible reaction. Well, that wasn’t the case with these, this mask really gives you that glow and the moisturizer is amazing during the day because it’s hydrating and gives that perfect glow. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

  3. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (My Color: PRALINE): I’ve only purchased the mini version and I always regret it because I finish it so quick. If you’re the type that doesn’t like wearing foundation, this product is for you. I love it because it hides my dark circles, instantly makes me look awake, and it doesn’t crease. I will say that I do add the HOURGLASS setting powder to keep it from creasing.

  4. Urban Decay Brow Blade Eyebrow Pencil & Ink Stain: I really do believe in the saying that BROWS can make or break a face and this blade/pencil is such a must and I’m so glad I bought this. I had been looking for an ultra fine tip brow pencil to achieve the “fluffy brow” effect and one night before bed, I YouTubed best brow pencils and found a video review on this product. Immediately I purchased it in the color Neutral Nana- neutral brown and now it’s my go to brow pencil for natural brows. The tip is so fine that it’s perfect for drawing each hair and creating the brow you want.

I’m loving these products and they’re definitely some I recommend if you’re looking to freshen up your skincare/makeup routine! Would love to know what your current skincare favorites are and why!

To better skin in 2021!

Love,

Flor
