Simple Holiday Glam

End of year festivities are looking a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look cute and dress up like we’re used to doing every New Year’s Eve.

Whether it’s for an intimate end of year party or for a fancy dinner at home, today I want to show you how to achieve a simple look with pretty loose curls that’s festive but not heavy.

The way I achieve my loose curls with straight ends (as it’s currently trendy) is by using a straightening iron vs a curling iron. The one trick to achieve this type of curl is to curl the hair and stop before reaching the ends, leaving about an inch to 2 inches so you can later straighten.

For the makeup glam, I’m not big on makeup, so what I usually do is use concealer only, add some shimmer, bronzer to lightly contour and add color to my eyes, and some blush for my cheeks. To finish off, I curl my lashes, lightly coat them, and add some moisturizing lip balm
